Have a look at the D-Major scale in different positions/with different fingerings: To fully take advantage of DADGAD tuning, we need the guitar to produce a harp-like sound. It’s important that all notes resonate for as long as possible, and to achieve this, the arrangement should place sequential notes on different strings.

This approach may feel “counterintuitive” or strange at first for someone accustomed to standard tuning. Remember, with all these resonating notes, proper intonation and precise tuning are crucial!

I have created three different arrangements of “The Kesh” for you to check out.
