My name is Silke, and I create educational materials.
I am a trained IT specialist with a master’s degree in Education and Psychology, and I have 40 years of teaching experience both online and offline.
During the pandemic, I started early retirement and began producing the musical learning materials that I personally felt were lacking.
After 40 years of trad german sessions (no dots here too!) I decided I wanted to build a trad Irish repertoire on the whistle as a retirement project. Being a fingerstyle guitarist I started playing around on the guitar with the tunes I learned on the whistle. Tuning my guitar to DADGAD suited the tunes so much better than standard tuning! I started creating some DADGAD Tabs to learn how to make the most of the new tuning. I’m sharing my tabs for free with other evolving ITM musicians. Enjoy!
